Awana is a week-night club program designed to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ, and to train them to serve Him. The Awana name is derived from an idea in the Bible found in 2 Timothy 2:15, “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.”
Our club is one of over 12,000 in the United States, and our charter number is #5328. There are over 7,000 additional clubs around the world. We are in our 41st year of Awana at Calvary. Awana is for all boys and girls regardless of church affiliation. It is made up of 4 individual clubs.
All of our Awana team members have completed the Child Safety Screening process.

Each meeting is divided into 3 excellent parts:
Game Time - Clubbers enter into teamwork and competition games. Sportsmanship and fair play are stressed as well as team spirit and cooperation.
Small Group Time - Clubbers study and recite the Bible verses from their handbooks and earn awards and participate in small group activities with their leaders.
Lesson Time - Clubbers hear a Bible message and participate in singing together.
Calvary offers the Awana program for free. Your child will also receive his/her first book and shirt for each group for free.
Replacement shirts and books that are lost or damaged will need to be purchased.
